I have perfected the "lazy omlette"-- sauteed some mushrooms in butter, pour in 2 eggs whisked with a tablespoon or so of milk, turn heat to low, sprinkle top with green onions and grated romano, once it is almost cooked through pop it under the broiler for 1 minute. Voila! No flipping.

This morning my bike ride was rained out, so before going to my salary-slashed, hours-multiplied, benefits-deleted asshat of a job, I decided to watch The Doctor Who special I've been saving for a special occasion, as David Tennant nearly always makes me feel warm & fuzzy inside. Too bad the entire hour was garbled up into pixelated crap.
To add insult to injury, I was told to come in at noon and then called at 10am to rush down to help avert a crisis-- I grabbed a sweater on my mad dash out that happened to still be damp, despite its having been hanging up for 3 days, thanks humidity, so now I am not only cold but also wet. I also didn't get any lunch, and have had more than one person today to tell me to quit my bitching.
